Message from San Antonio Senior Agents:

Each Sunday at 9 AM, we meet in downtown San Antonio to feed the homeless. We walk or drive around downtown searching for those in need of breakfast. Currently, we feed about 60-100 people each week. If we had more help, we could reach more people. We would love to have you join us!

Usually, we serve a combination of breakfast tacos, sandwiches, fruit, granola bars, and water. We were recently able to provide some bags of hygiene items. All of the food that we serve is biblically clean (no pork or shellfish). Pork alternatives, such as chicken bologna or turkey bacon/sausage, are fine.

PARKING: The meters downtown are free Sunday mornings. There are meters available around 9 AM at the corner of Stumberg and Main. There is also $5 parking in the Bexar County parking garage, located at 211 South Flores. After you have parked, walk to Main Plaza (about a block NE of the garage) to meet up with us.

This has been such a blessing for me. I can’t put it into words, but such a peace comes over me when we’re out serving these people that have nothing. I feel like they trust that they can rely on us.
